#LoveLines is a hashtag game on Twitter. What is a hashtag game? Well, it's a game where you post a line and add a hashtag to it for visibility. There are many hashtag games specifically for writers to post their lines. One of those is #LoveLines.
I started #LoveLines in July of 2016 with my friend Elle Karma (@ellekarmawrites) because we saw that many people in other hashtag games posted lines about love and relationships. At the same time, a lot of people think romance is silly, boring, dumb, or only for women. Despite that, writers from every genre write about love! (Even the men, don't try to hide it!)
Love and relationships are part of being a human being. We all have these emotions and we connect with other humans by this shared experience. #LoveLines welcomes lines from every genre about love and relationships. We also welcome poems, because poetry is so important to love.
